The three were greeted by Embassy Chargé d’Affaires Harihar Kanta Poudel, who expressed gratitude for Japanese support during this trying time and called on the international community to come together in combating such disasters caused by global climate change.

Takeya said that her party will do everything in its power to expedite Japanese assistance in ongoing rescue and reconstruction activities. Komeito also made a memorial contribution to Nepal through the Japanese Red Cross Society.
