Komeito, CRA and CDP to form united front during special session

On February 17, Komeito Chief Representative Toshiko Takeya met with Junya Ogawa, president of the Centrist Reform Alliance (CRA), and Shunichi Mizuoka, president of the Constitutional Democratic Party (CDP), with the three agreeing to work closely together in the extraordinary Diet session that commences from January 18. To further strengthen their partnership, the three also agreed that the secretaries-general and Diet Affairs Committee chairs of their respective parties would confer on a regular basis. To coordinate their policy agendas, moreover, their respective policy research and formulation committees would be integrated as expeditiously as possible.Search News
