Taniai spoke at a Marriage For All Japan rally on Mar. 22
On March 22, Komeito House of Councillors member Masaaki Taniai attended a public gathering organized by the public advocacy group Marriage For All Japan. Taniai said Komeito remained committed to legalizing same-sex marriages and was currently engaged in advancing the public and parliamentary discourse to prepare the necessary revisions to Japan’s existing marriage law.
