Komeito leader calls on Indonesian ambassador to Japan

On August 4, Komeito Chief Representative Natsuo Yamaguchi paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Heri Akhmadi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Japan. Yamaguchi made the visit to report to the Indonesian ambassador on the upcoming Komeito mission to Indonesia and two other ASEAN countries later in the month.

Yamaguchi pledged that Komeito, as a member of Japan’s coalition government, is committed to forging even closer ties with Indonesia. Ambassador Akhmadi urged Yamaguchi to meet with the political parties of his country in addition to officials of the Indonesian government.
