Ishii reiterates Komeito’s push for aid to single parents, non-permanent hires
January 16 , 2021
On January 15, Komeito Secretary General Keiichi Ishii met with reporters, citing Komeito’s concerns over the impact of the pandemic on non-permanent employees, impoverished families, single parents, the disabled and irregular workers. He said they were in need of substantive assistance, which his party was committed to providing. Ishii added that the aid package included in this year’s supplemental budget and fiscal 2022 national budget would not be sufficient and concluded that Komeito will be looking for ways to make aid more effective.Search News
