Yamaguchi met with South Korean ambassador

Komeito Chief Representative Natsuo Yamaguchi met with His Excellency Nam Gwan Pyo, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Japan, in Tokyo on December 9.Ambassador Nam said South Korea looks forward to working closely with Japan in the battle against the coronavirus pandemic. He also expressed hope for a new era of better bilateral relations, noting that the visit to Japan by Korean members of the Japan-Korea Parliamentarians’ Union in November was a positive step forward.
Yamaguchi agreed, saying that the two countries could advance cooperation and coordination globally by working together. Secretary General Keiichi Ishida and other top Komeito officials also attended the meeting.
