Gov’t adopts Komeito’s rent relief proposal

On April 20, the government adopted a Komeito proposal to pay rent for low-income individuals and families who face possible eviction. The sum is provided to people who have either seen their salaries pared or have been laid off and is graduated by monthly income and rent and assets. Recipients are entitled to a minimum of three months in rent and a maximum of nine months.Search News
