JASSO eases scholarship process

Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) announced that students on scholarship will no longer have to report in person to the university that has accepted them in order to submit their financial aid papers. Students are now able to do so either by standard mail or email instead. JASSO, the national scholarship provider operating under the aegis of the education ministry, eased its processing requirements in response to the COVID-19 outbreak, a point Komeito had been lobbying for.Search News
