March 28 , 2020
On March 27, Komeito House of Councilors members Toshiko Takeya and Hiromi Takase took to interpellating Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at an Upper House budget committee hearing. Takeya proposed that taxpayers seeking counsel from the National Tax Authority when filing their returns should be able to do it online, thereby avoiding crowds and reducing the risk of Covid-19 infection. She also suggested that companies be granted substantive incentives when they employ food banks to provide food to low-income families with dependents.Search News
