Yamaguchi: be the bearers for new era of Japan-China ties

On January 16, Komeito Chief Representative Natsuo Yamaguchi was invited to a new year’s event hosted by the Chinese exchange student association chaired by Pang Jiangtao and met with students from China at the University of Tokyo’s Hongo campus. He addressed the event by pledging to work for Chinese President Xi Jinping’s state visit to Japan later this spring a resounding success. He also called on the Chinese exchange students to help usher a new era of cordial Japan-China relations, saying that he had looked forward to their contributions not only for the betterment of their own country, but also for Japan.
